A range of briefings have been set for the following state's and or region (eg members in regional NSW close to Canberra can look to attend the Canberra workshop and those in northern NSW close to Brisbane can look to attend the Brisbane meeting ) .
The briefings are open to local government industry employees and employers as well as those in other industries that may use the training packages , such as technicians involved in records management etc.
The briefings offer an opportunity for ASU members to engage with industry and the relevant industry skills council (on this occasion the part of IBSA) around the training packages that are used in their particular area of local government.
At this time the agenda and some detail are yet to finalized , please consider these as foreshadowed meeting dates and state /locations.

• To consider and inform the workforce development strategy
• To validate the scoping review findings and recommendations which will be based on the survey outcomes and consultations and research.
