The Public Services International (PSI) Research Unit (PSIRU) - Quality Public Services Seminar – Sydney Australia.

The Public Services International (PSI) Research Unit (PSIRU), the ASU National Office, plus other Australian PSI Affiliates and UNION NSW will hold a joint forum at UNIONS NSW Auditorium at 10am to 1pm Monday the 7th February 2011
Professor David Hall of Greenwich University (UK) - the Head of the PSIRU will represent the PSIRU. www.psiru.org and will be the main presenter.
The seminar will cover the UNIONS NSW Better Services Campaign , the work of the PSIRU including its findings in support of quality public services (and better services) , private public partnerships , the NSW Union movement campaign for ' Better Services ', what is now happening in the UK under conservative government reforms, and more.
The seminar will also build on the briefing provided by Professor Hall to PSI Australian affiliates and UNIONS NSW affiliates in January 2010 .The PSI has been a supporter of the NSW Better Services Campaign.
Who can attend - All Unions, Union Officials, Delegates and Members & pro public services academics.
There will be NO cost or admission charges - this is free seminar sponsored by the Australian PSI Affiliates and Unions NSW.
NB -Entrance to UNIONS NSW Auditorium via 377 Sussex st Sydney
Professor Hall has limited time in Australia and this will be his only Australian event on this visit.
