Annual Action Day - ITF Railway Workers' Section which has been held since 2000, traditionally in the months of March or April, and focused on slogans such as "Safety First!", "No to violence!" or "Campaigning for the Future of Rail". Is being considered for aligning with Thursday 23 June 2011 launch of the Global Union initiative around quality public services (QPS) .Details should become clearer after a meeting of the Global Unions on 17 February. In the meantime, please mark Thursday 23 June 2011 on your calendar and inform your members as relevant and appropriate. ITF will also shortly be contacting unions who organise public transport workers in other sectors about this Action Day
