The links between the opposition (Abbott) ideology and QLD governments attacks on Services , and the image this causes to economies, (including regional economies) services and people that need help
The Prime Minister Julia Gillard - Refereed to the bold and decisive action of the GFC fight back in Australia by her government compared to what would have happened if the liberal/nationals were in power and thus the strong shape of our economy and what damage Australian workers would have faced if the government had not acted .
The Prime Minister highlighted areas including
Child care - Child care funding and child care rebates
Careers
Skills and training
Workplace legislation reforms by labor
Workplace bulling
At risks included -
Penalty rates ,
The real intention the opposition IR policy
Attack superannuation, robbing working people, for and the removal of the current superannuation subsidy for 3.5 million people
Attacks on govt services,
Losses in govt support
Cut in federal.funding
Reduced funding for schools and child care
The Prime Minister as usual was measured in her briefing, concise , clear on what her and labor values stand for and received great support, standing ovations and the rock star reception she gets at functions where people know what she and her Government stands for.
